Program of A Second Major for Students in Electrical Engineering and Its Automation
1. Objectives and Specifications
1). Educational Objectives
The objective of the program is to cultivate high quality graduate students who:
l possess solid fundamental theories in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics and information technology, and automatic control and computer application technology;
l get a wide knowledge of electrical engineering and excellent engineering practical ability;
l have basic knowledge of humanistic and social science and economic management;
l own spirit of innovation and sense of social responsibility;
l can work on scientific research, engineering design, technology development, system operation and economic management in electrical engineering or relevant fields.
2). Educational Specifications
Solid basic theory and knowledge of electrical engineering (K3);
Domain knowledge on 1-2 majors in electrical engineering(K4);
Requisite professional skills in electrical engineering(A1);
Basic ability to analyze and solve practical problems in electrical engineering(A2).
2. Requirements
Credits for minor should be no less than 25;
Credits for a second major should be no less than 50.
