On April 9th, 2021, the Graduate Student League Committee of the School of Electrical Engineering, Chongqing University invited Weng Changhong, Chairman of the Graduate Student Association of the School of Electrical and Automation,Wuhan University, and Li Zepeng, an outstanding student leader of South China University of Technology to conduct postgraduate work exchanges.
Our school shared the characteristic activities we undertook, such as the "Online Electrical Engineering lectures" which have a wide range of influence. During this exchange activity, Chongqing University and Wuhan University reached a consensus on co-organizing study activities, and initially drafted typical activities such as the "Party History Activity" to learn the founding and the development of our Party, painting and calligraphy exhibitions, and detailed plans for deeper cooperation with other universities. These activities were carried out to set up postgraduate cooperation platforms, and to achieve the commonly expected goals of more universities "bringing in" and brand activities "going out".
On the morning of April 23rd, eight postgraduate organizations from universities and schools jointly initiated an work communication activity. Leaders of these university organizations gathered online to learn and understand the spirit of the important speech made by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his visit in Tsinghua University.
In order to enrich the students' extracurricular life and improve their physical fitness, the School of Electrical Engineering has held a grand "Electrician Cup" sports event since May 18th. After several weeks of competition, the "Electrician Cup" basketball match, football match and badminton match ended successfully.
On June 17th, 2021, all party members of the second branch of the high voltage and insulation technology master students and the third branch of all doctoral students held an educational meeting with learning Party knowledge as the main theme. This meeting invited Professor Li Jian, Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering to give constructive instructions to the students. Teachers of the school also actively participated.
