The School of Electrical Engineering of Chongqing University Conduct Research Work on the Joint Training Base for Postgraduates

From March 2nd-3rd, 2021, Yang Zhifang, dean assistant of the School of Electrical Engineering of Chongqing University, and the administrative staff of the school went to the State Grid Sichuan Academy of Electric Power Research and the Southern Power Grid Hainan Academy of Electric Power Research Institute. This trip centered on the construction and management of student practice bases, engineering doctoral enrollment, scientific research project cooperation, etc., and was conducted in the form of seminars, visits, dialogues and exchanges.

At Sichuan Academy of Electric Power Research Institute, Vice President Li Fuxiang and Deputy Director of Human Resources Department Gao Yuan and members of the doctoral research station participated in this meeting. Li Fuxiang expressed a warm welcome to the staff from Chongqing University and gave a comprehensive introduction to the current operation and management of the graduate workstation, training system, and future planning. On behalf of the school, Yang Zhifang showed gratitude to State Grid for their long-term support in terms of postgraduate education and proposed ideas of practice base management and special plans for engineering doctors’ enrollment. The two parties reached a consensus on the continuous promotion of the joint construction of postgraduate workstations, doctoral social practice bases and academic journals. After the meeting, the school staff visited the Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Control Center of Sichuan Electric Power Company and the International Standard Innovation Exhibition Hall of the Technology Standard Science Education Base of State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Company.

On March 3rd, at the Southern Power Grid Hainan Academy of Electric Power Research Institute, Vice President Chen Lincong, Director of Human Resources Department Fu Xiangying attended the symposium. The two parties conducted discussions and exchanges on the preparation of building graduate practice bases, the enrollment of engineering doctors and part-time engineering masters.
